WHY HIRE A PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZER?

Maybe the better question is why wouldn't you hire a professional home organizer? Like, today!? You hire personal trainers, tax people, yard maintenance and house cleaners. Heck, you even hire astrologers and tarot readers, right (I totally get it!)? 

You know to hire a pro when:

• You lack knowledge and skills 
• You lack the energy or physical ability
• You don't have the self-motivation or interest to DIY
• You don't have the necessary resources

This all makes sense, doesn't it? Yet, many people are hesitant to hire a pro organizer. Why? My clients (brave souls that they are!) have said their initial #1 resistance was EMBARRASSMENT. They thought they should be able to tackle a little (or a lot of) decluttering themselves. They thought they should be able to figure out how to get and stay organized. They were reluctant to have a professional see their unkempt spaces. They were embarrassed by the hidden clutter lurking behind most closed doors (not to mention the fear that a closet avalanche might bury alive that poor home organizer, rest their soul). They even carried shame about letting some spaces get out of hand and dysfunctional. Sound familiar?

I'm here to tell you, it's time to ditch the guilt, shame, embarrassment or anything else holding you back. Even if your budget is limited, there are ways to get help to kick clutter to the curb, organize the things you WANT/NEED/USE, and maintain it. Please, I so dearly want you to discover the joy of an organized (or 'GROOMED' as I call it) home. Once you start, you will wish you'd taken this step years ago!
